Storytime with the Museum: A Year of Imagination and Fun

Join us the 1st Wednesday of every month for Library Storytime at the Museum! In partnership with the Dallas Branch Library, the Gaston County Museum launched Storytime in 2025 and it’s been a wonderful journey ever since! Designed especially for young children and their caregivers, this lively monthly series blends storytelling, music, dancing, and hands-on crafts to encourage creativity and foster a love for reading.

Held on the first Wednesday of each month at 10:30 AM, Storytime with the Museum takes place right here at the Museum and is led by our enthusiastic staff alongside the welcoming team from the Dallas Library. Each session offers a fun, educational experience perfect for preschoolers and early learners.
