SHUT IN

A Regional Juried Art Show

at the Gaston County Museum of Art & History

Purpose

The purpose of this juried exhibition is to highlight artist work completed during the shut down and subsequent months of dramatic change due to the global pandemic. SHUT IN seeks original, dynamic, and innovative work from artists on any subject matter, in any media. We want to see what inspired artists, what kept artists creating, their commentary on the world around them… Mostly, we want to see that when everything shut down and artists were shut in, creating never missed a beat.
