September 14th at Historic Loray Mill, the Gaston County Museum hosted an evening of drinks and conversation with Wiley Cash, New York Times- Best Selling Author of The Last Ballad, inspired by the story of Ella May Wiggins and the 1929 Loray Mill Strike.
Sevn Jars Distillery provided a whiskey tasting for guests while Museum Director Jason Luker questioned author Wiley Cash on his inspiration and writing process for The Last Ballad.
