Students explore the importance of civic duty and making critical decisions based upon facts, not opinions, as they participate in a mock trail to uncover the truth of what happened to Billy the Goat.
Set in the historic Gaston County Courthouse and filled with impromptu antics, students learn about the early history of the county, the importance of evidence, and compare and contrast how the court system worked in the 1800s vs today.
