Planning Your Visit

 

The average visitor spends about two hours touring the museum. 

While touring, please note there is no photography allowed inside the museum. 

The museum has a cell phone tour as part of its permanent exhibits. Visitors, using their cell phones, can call in to receive interesting facts and stories about some of the different exhibits and objects on display. This exciting feature gives guests more insight into the history of Gaston County.

After touring, there is a gift shop available to purchase a wide array of items. 

After your visit, you may picnic behind the museum on our grounds or visit one of the many restaurants close to the museum.
